Nursing Philately
Nursing Philately, the "Museum of Nursing Philatelic Art", is the site that documents in Sulcis Iglesiente, Sardinia, the path and the historical, graphic, artistic and cultural impact of the stamps issued and dedicated in all continents to nursing and its protagonists. It is a world-class collection that sees as a central actor, included in a few square centimeters, the care gesture, universally recognized for distinguishing the nursing identity from other care actions of other health professionals.
All that is contained in the drawing and in the narration are direct and contemporary protagonists of nursing and adhering, in their representation, to acting and daily thinking in many and different contexts, always with the same hand and the same mind of commitment, of ‘attention, responsibility, professionalism. hey are a fundamental part of international nursing history, they are a precious resource to be protected and enhanced, to be researched and preserved, to be shared and educated.
Beyond philately
The "Museum of Nursing Philatelic Art" works in the direction and perspective of a point of comparison and meeting on the development of nursing, a mechanism that produces continuous cultural stimuli aimed at the public, collectors, local communities, civil society, political institution, to nursing and health professionals.

Il Museo Filatelico Infermieristico osserverà sino al termine dell’emergenza sanitaria l’apertura al pubblico e la possibilità di visita alle collezioni previo appuntamento e nelle giornate del venerdì pomeriggio dalle 15,30 alle 18,30, il sabato e la domenica mattina dalle 9,30 alle 12,30 e la sera dalle 15,30 alle 18,30.
